After a little more than a month, we've completed reading Charlotte's Web. Jaya has enjoyed it immensely. Kari has found part of it enjoyable. It was fun to read it to them right before nap time most days. I enjoyed the language, the descriptive writing, the humor. All in all, we enjoyed reading this book. This evening, I surprised the girls by getting the video and we had our first book/movie critique. The girls were able to identify the differences and similarities between the book and movie. We all agreed that although the movie was entertaining, the book was much better!
I'm looking through the bookshelf deciding what we'll read next....
