I've been wanting to do another one since giving away one of our favorite books last month. So as we are out and about I'm always looking for something to share with those of you who read and live along side us! I'm into thrift-ing and have found a lot of awesome nearly new books that we've added to our library. When we found this one, my children reminded me that we already have it. I agreed, but then when I looked at the price (you would be shocked!) and saw that it was a near-new book as well (only has a name stamped in the front cover) I thought "I can't leave this book here!!" I had pass it along to one of you.
The book is The People Could Fly: American Black Folktales told by Virginia Hamilton, illustrated by Leo and Diane Dillon. This is a paper back copy and contains about 20 tales.
So, if you're interested, please leave a comment saying so, you're name will be entered once!
Would you like another entry? Here's a few more ways to increase your chances of winning:
1. Blog about this give away, leave a comment & link to that post--I'll enter your name two more times.
2. If you're a part of our 100 Books-a-Month Reading Challenge, I'll enter your name again.
3. If you're a follower, I'll enter you once more.
I will draw a name on Monday, June 28, 2010 at about 10pm and announce the winner on Tuesday, June 29th.
I'm happy to be able to share this book. We really have enjoyed the stories--they're great for reading aloud. Good luck to each of you who enter! :D

I almost missed this. Please enter me in this. That book looks fantastic!
Leslie,
That is nice to think of your fellow readers. I've been looking for more books to read to my children and it sounds like this is many stories in one.
Leslie,
I'm also a follower.
Leslie,
I'm a member of the 100 Books-a-Month-Challenge, but haven't been meeting our quota. We are starting fresh and new in July because school is starting again and I'm giving my children a separate reading challenge.
